Ingredients:
- 3 large tart cooking apples
- 1 1/3 cup sifted flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup milk
Cooking Instructions:
- Stir together dry ingredients in a medium size mixing bowl, set aside. In a small mixing bowl beat egg well, whisk in milk. Add egg mixture to flour mixture.
- Peel, core and slice apples. Dip in batter and fry in hot oil (365 degrees) for 2-3 minutes, turning once. Dust with confectioners’ sugar.
